Design and build a transactional, fully responsive website for a dry cleaning company. Produce content and copy that improves search engine ranking. Allow customers to book both services and delivery/pick-up times online and pay securely.
The Project Brief
The client is a well-known dry cleaning company based in Southampton, but serving many surrounding areas. In order to support their specialist and dry cleaning services, the client required a new website to promote their business.
Central to the site was the development of a simple and secure method for customers to select services, and then to choose suitable delivery and drop-off times. It was important that this process reflected the fact that a different level of service was available in different areas, i.e. some areas had more delivery days available than others.
It also became clear that the client was keen to highlight the ‘green’ credentials of their dry cleaning process, and this should be reflected in the copy
Once the website was launched, the client required an ongoing marketing plan to drive traffic and increase sales and profits.
Insite Web spent considerable time understanding the client’s business and what they were trying to achieve. An initial challenge was that while there are several solutions available for companies attempting to arrange delivery of goods and services, there are more challenges presented when a service requires goods to be both collected from and delivered back to the customer.
In addition, the client also wanted the option for customers to return hangers in return for a discount. Insite Web built a secure shopping process that both met all the varying requirements of the client, while also being simple to understand by the customer. We also ensured that the process worked easily and clearly on all mobile devices.
The site also features a postcode look-up feature, which enable customers to quickly establish the service coverage in their area.
As part of the website design process Insite Web also provided Atlantic Cleaners with a new brand logo, helping to create a modern and cohesive visual image across all marketing collateral.
PPC ad campaigns were developed to target customers in the appropriate geographical areas. Campaigns and ads were designed after a thorough analysis of the best long tail keywords to provide the best click through rate (CTR). This analysis was complemented by detailed A/B testing of different ad options to identify those that would tend to be most successful.
