How does Insite Web maximise the value of your reviews?

Where are your reviews? Your customers might review you on Google or Reviews.io, or leave Trustpilot reviews, Facebook reviews, Feefo reviews or TestFreaks reviews. These are just some of the major review platforms, but there are many more. This multitude of review platforms offers both an opportunity and a challenge.

Multiple platforms mean it’s likely that customers will review your products on at least one of them, but it also means that prospective customers may have to look in several different places to find the reviews that help them decide whether to make a purchase. Alternatively, if you have reviews scattered across Google, Facebook and a dedicated review site, it can look like you haven’t got many reviews if you can’t display them all on your website.

That’s where we come in. Insite Web has the tools to pull and display reviews from almost 100 sources, with your site on WordPress hosting reviews from all of them. Customers no longer have to look at lots of different online sites for customer reviews.

Why use our WordPress Review Plugin?

There are many WordPress and Google reviews plugins, but most are configured just to embed Google reviews on your website, or show reviews from a handful of different sources. Even some of the more advanced WordPress reviews plugins and widgets have limitations on what they can show; either being flexible display wise, but tied to one review source, or unable to customise what you can show, often relying on badges and complex offsite configuration portals to show multiple review sources.

We think we’ve created the best WordPress review plugin and process; it is designed to be flexible, expandable and pull reviews from pretty much any review platform you can think of. All configurable within the plugin itself. We’ll work with you to setup the ideal WordPress review display process for you.

With roughly 100 review sources available , we can show reviews from Google and Facebook, through the big review platforms like Trustpilot, Feefo and Reviews.io to specific niche review sources like Shopify and Trip Advisor. You can also add Facebook reviews to your WordPress site to make the most of the work you do in social media. If one of your preferred review sources isn’t available, talk to us and we’ll work with our developers to see if it can be added.

How will my reviews be displayed?

When Insite Web adds customer reviews to your website we will discuss the best way for them to be displayed. Our WordPress reviews plugin allows you to configure all reviews to your ideal layout. The options are:

Reviews can be aggregated, with reviews from different platforms combined to generate an average review score. As customers tend to trust reviews more when there is a higher number of reviews. This method is particularly useful if your company is yet to generate many reviews, or if your reviews are spread across many different platforms and you want to show a large total review score.

Reviews can be displayed as various badge types – e.g. Read our 2,500 reviews

You can brand badges with the reviews platform – e.g. Read our 2,500 Google & Feefo reviews

You can show overall review scores & individual reviews on page together

Reviews can also be shown so that customers can see reviews from different platforms separately. So, you might think you just want to add Google Reviews to your website, because you know that your customers trust these reviews. However, with our tool you can still show these reviews separately, while also letting you add Facebook reviews to your website, or reviews from other sources. This tends to work well for companies with lots of reviews, as well as those who use more sector specific platforms, such as OpenTable

You could have a review page that allows customers to filter by all review types

You could have a carousel that shows reviews only from certain sources on some pages; e.g. Google but not Facebook

You could show a total from all sources, but only individual brand reviews

Finally, you could use a combination of these, with an aggregate score displayed but potential customers given the opportunity to only look at reviews from the platforms that they are most familiar with. Depending on the sources of your reviews, and whether you have service and product reviews, you can show reviews by product or service relevance.

Most sites have a total review score & then display their most recent reviews

You can show a review score and reviews by product/service only

You could show a total review score, but only individual reviews by product service
